Great info on Australia Adelaide Mission Northern Territory

This  is Elder and Sister Buckner who recently arrived to the Australia Adelaide Mission
and were assigned to serve in Darwin.  They drove one of the mission cars, pulling
a trailor all the way from Adelaide To Darwin.  If you would like to read about
their adventures and learn a whole lot about the territory, check out their mission
blog at bucknermission.wordpress.com  Its fascinating!!!

While Sister Goisisi was here for the wedding, we took the opportunity to find
out what is happening in her life.  Enjoyed this lunch  and catching up!!!

Sister Freitas.  We love you.

Look who I ran into at Coles on their P-Day?  These great missionaries.  Elder Raiqisa,
Elder Cho and Elder Fuhriman.  And the wonderful thing about this is look
what they are buying!!!  Fruits and vegetables!  In this mission, we stand up
for fruits and vegetables!  Good on ya Elders:) Love you.

Missionaries being transferred from Darwin to Adelaide. Elder Hamilton, Elder
Hobby and Elder Gaastra.

Its a small world in the church.  You can always find a connection.  This is Elder
Hamilton with Elder and Sister Zobrist.  As they talked and got aquainted they found out
that Elder Hamiltons father served with Sister Zobrists brother. And... that Elder Hamiltons
father is Elder Zobrists sisters dentist!  I hope I got all of this right????

Today was President Parkers birthday.  Thank you to all those who helped to make it
a special day.  He surely felt very loved. He woke up to the Darwin Zone singing
him Happy Birthday on Facebbook, several calls from our children and grandchildren,
A delicious dinner from Elder Corotan made with love.  The famous "adobo" that
Elder Corotan is known for making. Many sweet texts, phonecalls and emails,
And this decorated door from some of the sisters:)

A box filled with chocolate topped doughnuts from Elder and Sister Larkin. and what
was unusual about these doughnuts?

The tops were cut off just the way President Parker likes them.

Royal Adelaide Show

The beginning of September begins the Royal Adelaide Show . The largest show in
Southern Australia and it goes for 10 days.  Last year 50,000 people came from all
over Australia.  Sounds like the perfect place for a missionary booth to me!Here
Elder LArkin, and Elder and Sister  Zobrist survey the space we have rented to set up!

This is going to be great!  Lets see what we can fit in here.   Sister Zobrist,
Elder Wilkins and Elder McMurray, the Assistants to the President and Elder Larkin.

This was exciting. So many people come for this show. We had to park and take a
bus quite a long way to get here. It is a big event!

We're Open!

Can you believe how great this is!!  Our missionaries took turns at the booth.  Here,
Sister Vaitaiki and Sister  Mongan share pamphlets on the Restoration of the Gospel
of Jesus Christ and on how Families can be together forever.

President Parker, Elder Makai, and Elder Chen getting some lunch from one of the
yummy vendors. These are fantastic missionaries .  Elder Makai is one of the City
Zone Leaders and Elder Chen is our new missionary from mainland China. He
will be a great blessing to our Chinese members and investigators.  We are so blessed
to have these great missionaries to serve here.

President Parker is wondering how he missed out on this!  A corndog that is huge!!
One of his favorite treats when we go to amusement parks.  Here Elder Zobrist
trying to figure out how to eat this thing!!

Elder and Sister Larkin enjoying the same treat! Now thats a corndog!
What a great experience to share our message with so many of the Lords children
here in Adelaide.  Many curious people came to visit the booth and learn more about
the Savior and how they can follow Him. If you have questions-ask the missionaries!
We  would love to share with you our Heavenly Fathers plan of happiness.  This
message we share will bless your family forever.
