Birthdays and Darwin

Around the Mission

 
This is the Katherine Branch in the Northern Territory.  They hold church at 
President and Sister Walmsleys home. Brother Walmsley is the new Branch
President and a huge blessing to this Branch.

Also in the Northern Territory in Darwin, new Sister Training Leader, Sister Purvis
Gets her Northern Territory Drivers License. Only about half of the Sister missionaries
Serving in the Austra;lia Adelaide Mission have a drivers license so this is  a very
Big deal!  Congratulations Sister Purvis.

Arrivers Training

Early the next morning we were in the City at the Teaching Center for interviews.

Missionaries teaching in Rundle Mall and serving as Mobile Gospel Display Sisters. 
They are very busy!!

While her new companion has her interview with President Parker, Sister Yan is
Learning all she can about using the Mobile Gospel Displays to share the Gospel.

Arrivers Dinner

 
After a long day of orientation, its time for the Arrivers Dinner at the Firle Chapel.

This was a wonderful sight to see as three new Sister Missionaries arrived in the 
Australia Adelaide Mission. We still get giddy anticipating new missionaries.  Never
gets old!!
 
We are so very excited to receive 2 Mandarin speaking sisters to this mission.  This is
Sister Lu from Taiwan. She is amazing!!  We welcome you to the best mission ever
And can't wait for the miracles to begin. We love you.
 
And this is Sister Yan from China. She is incredible!  We are so excited to have her 
Here to serve with us.  Welcome Sister Yan.  We are blessed to have you here.  You are
An answer to our prayers. We love you.

Four more missionaries were scheduled to arrive today from the MTC in Provo, Utah
But did not receive their visas in time.  We will anxiously wait for them to arrive!
