Leavers

Elder Wilkins!  A man of God, a great and powerful teacher, a leader in every sense
Of the word, a gentleman,  a consecrated missionary and a great assistant to the
President.  You have carried the mantle well. You have led as the Savior would lead.
May your great service continue to shape the rest of your life as Elder Holland would say.
We have loved every minute serving with you. Forever in our hearts. Love you
To Gove and back!

And... they will all be hung up on the Tie Board at the Mission Home.  We will think
Of you often as we see them.  Love you all.

Tie Cutting

Sister Mongan is next.  Its so amazing how these clothing items come with so many
Memories.  This is a skirt that Sister Mongan was wearing to be a part of many miracles.

The beautiful and talented Sister Mongan.  Our mission will have 1 less piano player
When she goes:(   Thank you for your wonderful example of a consecrated missionary.
Thank you for showing us how to do hard things.  thank you for always smiling and
Doing everything you do with so much love. Our one and only missionary from Indonesia.
Love you always and forever.

Elder Ghergori stepped up next.  President has the scissors now-look out!

There you have it, one less tie. We will miss you Elder Ghergori.  Thank you for the
Wonderful and inspiring comments you always shared at trainings.  Thank you for
Working hard and being diligent.  Thank you for doing hard things.  No doubt the Lord is
Smiling down on you and is pleased with your service.  You have blessed the lives
Of many, including ours.  We love you forever.

This is one happy missionary!!!  Elder Lapenmal you are the best!!!

Elder Lapenmal is famous in this mission for many things! The fastest biker in the
Mission, eating more oranges then anyone else, getting ready for the day at lightspeed,
Drinking alot of a certain unamed beverage, and doing all he does with this huge smile.
You will never be replaced Elder Lapenmal.  Thank you for all you have taught us.
Our hearts are filled with joy when we think of you.  Love you always and always.

And this special photo was taken a day after Elder Lapenmal left the mission and
Flew to Vanuatu.  What a joy to see him with Elder Rice who is serving a mission
In Vanuatu at the time. Love these two great men so much.

Leavers Dinner

Its that happy/sad time to say goodbye to these amazing missionaries.  Can't imagine
This mission without them.  Elder Lapenmal, Elder Ghergori, Elder Wilkins, Sister
Taufa and Sister Mongan. The best of the best!

I would say these elders have walked a few miles in these shoes-or in this mission,
They have ridden their bikes a few miles!

Time for a lovely dinner prepared by the amazing Sister Gilligan.

Dinner in the mission home with these great senior missionaries.

Great night of reflecting on the wonderful service each of these missionaries have given.

After a lovely dinner, its time to cut some ties or scarves. Sister Taufa is first.

It was almost more than I could do to cut into the beautiful dress Sister Taufa was
Wearing on the day she arrived in the mission.

Beautiful Sister Taufa!  A missionary who is a great example of our mission culture.
She is obedient!  She is bold!  She is a leader!  She is a Disciple of Christ!  We love
You so much.  Who is President Parker going to tease???  Forever in our hearts.

Transfers

With the reading of Transfer calls Sunday evening, there was a little extra
Excitement in the air, as even the senior couples were listening to see if they would have
A new assignment.  One of the transfers includes Elder and Sister Buckner who have
Been serving in the NT in Palmerston, are being transferred to Mildura. Here they are
Doing what they do best, making each missionary feel very loved.
Celebrating Sister Mongans birthday with her and her companion, Sister Angoy.
We know miracles await in Mildura for the Buckners.

Also being given a new assignment are Elder and Sister Rohlfing, who have been
Serving in Mildura and now will be serving in the City Zone at the new Teaching
Center in the new CBD Branch Building. They will also continue to watch over
The flats which is no small task.  They will be very busy , but thats what happens when
You have so many talents to share and you are capable of so many things.  HEre they
Are with the Bishop of the Mildura Ward and his beautiful family, the Tuiamualas.

Elder and Sister Wilson will still be wearing many hats.  Sister Wilson is the Mission
Secretary and her job description is way to long to type.  Elder Wilson is over finances,
Flat leases and helping everyone else with everything!  They are so gracious and helpful
And their capabilities know no bounds.  We are so very thankful they answered the call
To come and serve in this mission.

Elder and Sister Farrer will continue to watch over all of the missionaries in the Darwin
Zone and minister and bless the lives of  the members and non-members, neighbors, and
Basically everyone they meet from Darwin to Katherine and beyond. Elder and Sister
Farrer=Charity or the pure love of Christ. HEre they are with the Darwin missionaries
Right before transfers.

Elder and Sister Lea have only been here a few months and have made huge strides
In the missionary work in the Alice Springs Zone. HEavenly Father knew they are
The perfect senior couple to serve in this very special place in this mission.  Miracles
Brought them here to this mission and miracles will continue.  They are capable of
Serving anywhere  but for this time in Alice Springs, they are doing a marvelous
Work and a wonder.

How sweet it is to have these two here to serve in the mission.  Elder and Sister
Withington will be assigned to serve over Family History and over Member Find
In the Marion Stake. They will also assist with the flats. And...we now have a
Mission seamstress which the Elders with torn trousers will be very happy about!
We love these two already and feel like longtime friends. Again, so talented and
Great experiences to bring to strengthen the Australia Adelaide Mission.

President Parker and I couldn't even sleep the night before these two missionaries
Arrived we were so excited.  Elder and Sister Smith have jumped in with both feet
Helping and serving with all they can.  Elder Smith has taken the assignment to
Watch over all bikes and cars and phones in the mission. Sister Smith will be
Over the medical in the mission, as well as ordering supplies and overseeing the
Huge task of feeding the missionaries!  Together they will also help with the flats.
ITs a good thing they can do anything because they will be multitasking and they do it
All with such love and kindness. We love the Smiths!

And we could not forget Elder and Sister Snell!  The happy, incredible duo who go
About serving , lifting and helping everyone they meet.  They continue to do a great
Work with Self-Reliance throughout South Australia and Northern Territory. We are so
Blessed by their service and they are changing lives.  Thank you to our Father in
Heaven for sending them  here.   We love you.

And speaking of Self Reliance.... these are the 5 missionaries leaving us this transfer
As they attended the Self Reliance class taught by Elder and Sister Snell. They have served
With all of their heart, might, mind and strength and are now ready for the next exciting
Step in their lives as they follow Gods plan. Couldn't love these missionaries any more
Than we do!

So very grateful for Prophets on the earth today.  What a blessing to listen to General
Conference while we are on the other side of the world.  WE love and sustain these
Great men and feel so blessed to have heard the inspired words of   All.  The
Conference was beautiful and uplifting and full of peace and hope and love.  We are
So thankful to belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

A great surprise to come home to!

So thankful for children who can't wait for General Conference and make it a special
Time.

Quite the extravagant tent with the door facing the Prophet so the children can hear
The good word of God.

Five more wonderful missionaries have completed their mission and we were
Privileged to spend the morning in the Temple with them.  A day never to be forgotten!
Sister Mongan, Sister Taufa, Elder Ghergori, Elder Wilkins and Elder Lapenmal.

This special time together reminds us all that relationships  are eternal and that no
