To celebrate the Mooncake Celebration in China, we held a Mooncake Festival in
the City at the Teaching Center at the Theater. What is a Mooncake Festival you ask?
Its a celbration of coming together-families. We have to celebrate families so we
were happy to share in this great day with wonderful people coming to the Teaching
Center.
These are Mooncakes. Like a pastry only filled with all different kinds of things.
Some have nuts, or fruit. I tried one with an egg in it. It was very good. On top
are beautiful Chinese writings about coming together. You never eat a whole
Mooncake. Each member of the family takes a piece. It is very rich and very good.
Lining up for dumplings, eggrolls, different kinds of rice and stir fries. and of
course Mooncakes for dessert!
