Specialized Training

We arrived in Alice Springs on December 30th and couldn't believe our eyes!  There
was water in the Todd River and it was beautiful. We have never seen water in this
river in the 18 months that we have been going to Alice Springs.  They say if you see water
in the river 3 times, you are a local.

This is the very same river that the missionaries ran down as they were in the Race on
the Todd and won!  But no water in it then!

We were surprised that it made you feel cooler just seeing the water here.  Usually
it is quite hot and dry.  Such a beautiful sight!

It was such a treat to spend a few days with these wonderful missionaries.  After a
morning of training, we shared a little KFC.  Here are 2 great sister missionaries
Sister Garrote and Sister Monukau. These sisters are incredible and they can
really book it on the bikes!!

Elder Hammond and Bush Elder Komaisavai working so hard in this part of the
Lords vineyard.

Leading this great Zone is Elder Corotan  who will soon be leaving us:(  Here he
is with another great missionary and District Leader, Elder Langi.
Alice Springs is a special place, with a fantastic branch .  We are in awe of these
missionaries who give their all and help grow the church and invite all to "Come Unto
Christ." We love you.
